Used indiscriminately in the field of professional body building and athletics, anabolic steroids can cause anger problems, serious liver damage and reduced sexual function – all in the name of building muscle mass and improving athletic performance.
Antidepressants
These are prescription drugs prescribed to patients with depression, anxiety or mood swing problems. Used correctly under the guidance of a doctor, they should not cause serious side effects. But if used in dosages and durations more than what is prescribed, they could lead to addiction and serious side effects. Some people use them along with alcohol, and this adds to the risks associated with the abuse.

Any substance derived from opium are called narcotics, and these fall into the category of one of the most dangerous, addictive and commonly abused drug types available today.
Stimulants
These work by elevating the functions of the central nervous system. Highly addictive and dangerous, long term use can have disastrous negative effects on health.
Tobacco
A most widely used addictive substance. Used in many forms, this causes cancer and other negative health issues.
